My Woody is a quality toy that brings fun and laughter to me, i love all the phrases. The interaction function is good fun but sometimes it does not respond instantly if at all. I bought Buzz lightyear and they do respond to each other most of the time. Woody is a genuinely well crafted figure with a great feel and look to it. The paint work and clothes look just like the films character figure. The stand has a tight fit around Woody's neck and can scuff the neck area of the figure. Woody is now back in his box and part of my collection. Well worth the money i paid and i recommend it to anyone who loves Toy story.

In 1995 I remember going to Disneys MGM studios (now Hollywood Studios) and getting my first Buzz Lightyear and Woody the Sheriff. They were no where near as movie accurate as this! The old Woody had a very square body and proportionate sized legs and arms, which is not movie accurate. This Woody doll is 100% movie accurate. The hat even has the stitching around the rim. The head is still plastic of course but then what else can they do, and as always for some reason the pull string still whips back in as aposed to the films slow draw back. That aside this is incredible. If you ever had a Woody toy before and thought 'i wish he looked a little closer to the one in the film" then look no further!
This is a must for anyone who loves Toy Story.

Arrived on time & in great condition.
I have always wanted a genuine Woody replica ever since the 1st Toy Story in 1995. I settled for less with the older models but when this guy came out, I had to get it. 15 years later I finally have the closest thing to the real Woody available. With only a handful of forgivable differences that may still bother collectors, like facial expression & joined fingers, this is still, by far, the best Woody around.
The pictures really do show the best of the details so there's no need to elaborate there, but it's weird to look back at the older models & see just how inaccurate they were.
The interactive mode is always a hoot when someone isn't expecting it. Unfortunately, he switches onto interactive mode every time you pull the string. You do have to pull his string again to switch him off interactive mode (instructions are a bit vague here). I thought this was a bit annoying, I was hoping he would have 2 separate modes like the Buzz figure.
There are cheaper versions of these around. Not the Toy Story Collection, but the Toy Story 3 line of toys. These versions look almost identical to the Collection series, they seem to be able to take more damage and only have a few features missing.
I would recommend that line for young kids & the Collection line for the collectors.
The figure itself seems quite strong. I have had mine for a month now & he has been knocked around a bit & is still in perfect shape. A common complaint about wear & tear is Woody's vest. The stitching in the vest can come loose if one is not careful when trying to get at the battery pack. If the kids are young it may be better have an adult do this. Having said that, I found out about this design flaw early and as a result, I have avoided it so far.
The Toys Story Collection Woody is an absolute must for toy story fans young and old. But again I would recommend the standard (less expensive) Toy Story 3 line of toys for the very young kids.

we were delighted to receive this product which in packaging and on opening lived up to expectation. Will wait to see how durable it is in the hands of lively toddlers!

It's a very well crafted toy. It got delivered today (3th of August 2010)and I must say the packaging is amazing.
To open the box is a bit tricky and kind of a hassle but when you finally get Woody out of the box, you can see and feel the details of this collectible. The fabrics and the use of different materials used for the hat are great. His jeans really does feel like an actual jeans and the buttons on his vest have a similar feel to a pushpin. The quality of his articulation is fantastic.
The only minor thing about Woody is his support that comes with the box. It's very unstable.
Everyone who's a die-hard fan of Toy Story, should get this one asap.
(TIP: When opening the box, take a cutter and open the bottom of the box.)
