Tomy Air Guitar July 20, 2009 Mrs. V. R. Hampson-hawker (West Yorkshire) Great fun, both my husband and 8 yr old son, love it!!
Excellent value for money. Good quality product, would recommend. The novelety wore off after a week or so, but I am sure it will be used again!
Rock on!!! July 8, 2009 D. J. Morris Fantastic value for money, gave it to a friend for his birthday at a recent BBQ, the guitar was the star. Very receptive, good choice of songs to play along to or simply play freestyle. We also plugged it into separate speakers and cranked up the sound, rock on doods.
Apprentice Air Guitar! June 29, 2009 Gail Cook (Altrincham, UK) As soon as my 12 year old son saw this on the Apprentice he was surfing the web to get one - their sales must have increased thanks to the programme! Anyway, he thinks its fun but it is one of those things that will come out now and again. Still for the price it is good value :)
fun for the whole family! June 28, 2009 A. E. Sellers great value, great fun, I bought the air guitar for my husband but the whole family have enjoyed it!!
Fun and not as silly as it sounds June 2, 2009 Traveller 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This seemed like a bit of fun, and worth a few quid. And it is. I had a laugh trying to get the hang of it and was surprised that with a bit of extra time you can actually start to get quite good at it.
You literally strum the imaginary strings, by breaking the infrared beam. This is the difficult bit and at first I kept strumming by mistake but with careful timing and careful aiming I got quicker and more accurate in a couple of minutes.
There are songs to play along to, in a hilarious old-school beepy tone. Or you can play it 'unplugged', as it were - just jamming away to your heart's content. There's a little chart in the instructions that tells you how to play different chords.
Good fun and I'm looking forward to getting it out next time we have friends round, particularly if I can persuade someone else to buy one so we can jam together.
