Stylophones are exellent February 13, 2010 Mr. Michael A. Haskell (Flintshire, UK) Brilliant product, only complaint is a small scratch on the surface of the keys, but it still works perfectly. I would recomend this to any funloving musician, although no musical talent whatsoever is needed to play it. I entered a talent contest with a few of my friends with a stylopone, a bucket, a guitar, and 2 out of tune teenagers and managed to come second out of about 38-42 contestents. Is definantly worth the money as it will provide many hours of enjoyment and laughter.
My opinion January 20, 2010 Martin De Lange (Belgium) This is real fun !!!
And for us older guys, it also brings memories from the past ....
simplistic pleasure January 19, 2010 olivesnpasta (Borders) we bought one of these as part of our eldest sons (age 22) christmas box . between him and his 3 younger brothers age 7,9,11 the stylophone barely had time to breath over the christmas period. 2 of the younger brothers have gone on to buy stylophone with there christmas money. Its so simple, its beautiful. hours of mindless tinkering. I would wholeheartly reccomend this to anyone regardless of age as something to tinker on!!! Enjoy
side utilities January 18, 2010 Ferrone Pasquale (Italy) Pretty quaint vintage looking toy. It also works as a loudspeaker for mp3 players ...actually, this could be its most effective feature
Lots of fun and great value January 5, 2010 C. MUMMERY (Örnsköldsvik, Sweden) For the price you can't go wrong with this gadget. Bowie used one in live concerts and I think Little Boots uses one occasionally. Great sound and lots of fun for the musically inclined. It would have been nice to have a reset to default tuning option since you may accidentally turn the tuning knob on the bottom while playing and then you need to retune it again to get perfect pitch - not so hard to do. Then again it's a plus that the pitch can be retuned in the first place. Only one criticism - less careful younger kids might break the wire that connects the stylus.
This box must be the cheapest substitute around for a real piano.
