A True Classic July 24, 2010 Happy This is a great wee set of Scrabble one which I cannot find any negative points to write about.
It seems perfectly robust with easy to read letters on the tiles and easy to read words on the board.
Just the ticket !
Great game but not so great finishing. June 20, 2010 Margot (London, UK) I have no doubt that Scrabble are great educational game for kids and adults.... We love playing it and definitely it is a good choice for game that almost the whole family can enjoy. My 4 year old daughter is still too small to join us creating words but she press for us Scrabble timer (bought separately) when we play. The only minus is the finishing. Wish I invested in wooden deluxe edition from the beginning with built-in turntable instead of having have to use "lazy Susan" from Ikea to turn the board around.
An educating toy. May 8, 2010 A. J. Giydan I have bought this toy as a present to my cousin and he really liked. Although it has a great effect on his knowledge, the design is not really firm. I would recommend for you to purchase another design of the same game.

The pieces are too small for the board and slip very easily. i wish I had bought Travel scrabble that has pieces fixed on the board.
Scrabble original without the basics February 1, 2010 B. Cassell (Weybridge, U.K.) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The title inferred that I would get a board game with the usual paraphernalia, i.e. a decent set of instructions and a starter set of scorecards. The former is a sheet of paper that looks like a cheap photocopy and the latter is absent altogether.
I suggest to examine the details of all the other Scrabble options on offer before going straight for this particular version. Scrabble Original looks like a cheap version of what you might assume is "Original", even the tiles are hollow to ensure that some plastic is saved and that they weigh next to nothing.
