Durable and attractive March 2, 2010 Mrs. Patricia Kermode (isle of man G.B.) I bought this toy for my great-grandson for his second birthday and was very pleased with it, as was he. Colourful and very well made he was immediately attracted to it and obviously found the different sound effects an added bonus. An added bonus for the rest of us was that they were not too loud. I thoroughly recommend it.
A wonderful purchase! January 31, 2010 Mrs. H. M. Tonks (UK) I bought this for my son (22 months) for Christmas and he adores it! The individual blocks sit on his window sill, they catch the morning light beautifully.
The blocks are well made perfectly smooth and each one makes a distinctive sound. My son has had hours of fun shaking and rattling, putting them in the box and taking them out again and is now exploring the effects of looking through them!
An lovely gift if you are looking for something different from the usual "plastic junk", well worth the money.
What fun! December 31, 2009 E. Barbara Andres (Canada) I bought this for my now 2 year old grandson's first birthday and he still plays with the blocks. I was surprised at how quickly he learnt how to get the blocks in and out of the holder. He uses them as music rattles while listening to his children's CD's. The workmanship of the blocks and holder is very high. A good toy to play with your child.
Wooden Blocks December 18, 2009 Frances Martin (Aberdeen, Scotland) Bought as a present for my 13 month niece. She seems to like both the sound and the colour of the blocks. They are quite tactile and make a pleasant change from the plastic toys. Am sure that she will have more fun with these as she gets a little older.
Lid not very good December 15, 2009 Mr. Ian Galletly (UK) While the construction of this item is excellent, the design of the lid falls a little below expectation. There is no catch to keep the shapes from falling out.
Additionally the colour plastic seems to be less transparent/darker than the images imply (obviously photographed with a bright light behind it).
All in all it is still a nice object, I just hope my nephew likes it as a toy:)
