Yes they do sink to the bottom however not as slick as others I've seen children playing with. Also rather a pain to dry-out after use with water still leaking out of various crevices several days after. Wouldn't recommend putting them back in the carry case and closing zip. Having said that kids got plenty of enjoyment out of them in the pool! Have also had to re-glue on one of the bottome sections after my two got a little enthusiastic whilst pulling them to see who would throw it so maybe not the best quality?

Very good price. The sticks feel good quality and very colourful. The kids had a wonderful time playing with them in the pool. They sink immediately and stand upright on the bottom of the pool. I did notice some tiny polystyrene balls on my fingers from time to time and wonder if these were coming out of the sticks, but I couldn't be sure. All in all a good item that I would recommend.

This arrived the following day, and is a must every time we go swimming. My four year old loves going down to the bottom of the pool to collect the four sticks, and the different characters are really fun. She has also made lots of friends sharing these, and I think lots of Mums will have bought them too. They also have numbers on each one, so later on we can have competitions. One of my best buys!

This is an en excellent training toy to teach younger children to put their faces in the water leading onto to them eventually learning how to dve. Good value for money too.
