| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.co.uk Review Fans of Paolo Nutini’s debut album, These Streets might raise an eyebrow or two at this sophomore release. Produced by Ethan Johns (Kings Of Leon), Sunny Side Up features an eclectic and "rougher" range of songs that set it somewhat apart from its slick predecessor. Recorded in Ireland, Wales, New York, LA and the UK, Nutini--backed by his band The Vipers--tackles folk, reggae, soul and rock, with varying results. The Motown-esque "Coming Up Easy", the ballad "Worried Man" and the sea-shanty "Growing Up Beside You" are shining examples of Nutini's erudite songwriting skills, as is the charming, Dylan-esque "Tricks Of The Trade". But songs like "Pencil Full Of Lead" and "No Other Way", as well as his forays into reggae-lite and ersatz ragtime are less convincing, often sounding more like sketches than full songs. Whether Sunny Side Up is bravely eclectic or an incoherent disaster depends ultimately on the loyalty--and the patience--of the listener. --Danny McKenna

Paole Nutini, Sunny Side Up July 21, 2010 Peter Gatford (UK) Love to be able to review this cd, however it was for my wife, she loves it. And by the way at the present an ear problem renders me pretty deaf. Rubbish review, but it saves all the technical stuff we all read on albums sometimes!
Sunny side up July 8, 2010 beth1471 I bought this item as a birthday gift for a family member. I was very disappointed when it came to me as a pre-owned item and not sealed. The artist is just amazing and I love his music but extremely embarrassed at having to give a pre-owned item as a gift.

paolo nutini - suny side up June 27, 2010 Sophie Foggin I really like this album. It is filled with fun and humour. I had previously heard of Paolo Nutini and liked his previous single 'new shoes'. My favourite track is 10/10. Real feel good 'summery' mix of tunes. I would recommend this to a friend. Happy days :)
P.S get well soon steven greenhalgh :D
Wow, Amazingly matured 10 years in the space of 2! June 18, 2010 Freya I fell in love with Paolo's first album, especially the rustic version of Last request. However after hearing this one, that album really doesn't bother me any more. I love how Paolo has come into his own style here and does not seem to be influenced too much by big commercial companies like with his first album. I love it, and i can't really say much more, except you know that he means what he says this time, which is the key thing for any artist.
